# Make it look yours

Your app doesn't look vibe-coded because of the code. It looks that way because of the defaults nobody changed. Tick these off, then ask for them one at a time with the change card.

## The defaults

- [ ] **No gradient hero.** One real colour, used on purpose. My colour:
- [ ] **Real icons, not emoji.** One icon set (Lucide, Heroicons...), same size and weight everywhere.
- [ ] **Not everything centred.** Body text left-aligned, things lined up to an edge.
- [ ] **Some hierarchy.** One big bold thing, one quiet small thing, a clear gap between. Heading font (optional):
- [ ] **An empty state.** What someone sees before they've added anything. Mine says:
- [ ] **A loading state.** If anything takes a moment, it says so.
- [ ] **No uncanny AI images.** Real photos, simple illustrations, or none.
- [ ] **Room to breathe.** Important things get more space than unimportant ones.
- [ ] **Words like a person.** Not "Submit" and "Error". My main button says:

One small thing no template would give you, something that makes it obviously made by a person who cared. You only need one.
