Why I Came Back to Creative Mind Habits

There was a time I believed I could build a life around creativity. I quit my job, started freelancing, and poured myself into a blog called Creative Mind Habits. It was messy and scrappy but it felt real. That was many years ago. People even told me it helped them. That mattered.

And then... I stopped.

I burned out. Life got hard. I chased stability, got my MBA, took on other work. I told myself it was the practical choice. But something tragic happened not too long ago, and it woke me up. It made me ask: What was all that work for if I was just going to let it go?

I realized I had traded passion for safety. And I wanted both.

So I came back.

I started blogging again. Posting on Instagram. I even made 10 YouTube videos after watching something called the Grandpa Method. The results? A grand total of 54 views. Not 54,000. Just 54.

But weirdly… I didn’t quit. I laughed. And I posted again.

This time, I’m not chasing perfection. I’m not trying to be an expert. I’m sharing what I’ve learned, what I’m still learning, and hoping it reaches the people who need to hear it.

If you’ve ever burned out or wondered if your creative work still matters. This is your sign. Come back to it. Start again.
