Creative Mind Habits is run by Em. These terms cover the free resources on this site and the one paid thing here, the Build it with Em session. By using the site or booking a session, you agree to them.

Free Resources

The starter packs, templates, tools and posts here are free. Each pack says what you're allowed to do with it, and that's the licence that applies. They're shared as-is, without any guarantee that they'll suit your project or work perfectly every time.

Build it with Em Sessions

What you're booking. A 90-minute 1:1 video call where we work on your first site or small tool together, using one of the starter packs.

Price and payment. The price is shown when you pick a time, and it's paid in full when you book. Payment is handled by Stripe through Cal.com. I never see or store your card details.

What to expect. The goal is a real live link by the end of the call, and most small projects should get there. How far we get depends on the project, though, so I can't guarantee a finished site or tool. If we don't get all the way, you'll leave with notes on what's left and how to finish it.

Rescheduling. You can reschedule for free up to 24 hours before the session, using the link in your booking confirmation email.

Cancelling and refunds.

• Cancel 24 hours or more before the session and you get a full refund.
• Cancel less than 24 hours before, or don't show up, and the session isn't refunded. If something genuinely came up, email me anyway and we'll work something out.
• If I have to cancel or reschedule, you choose between a new time and a full refund.

Your work stays yours. Anything we build is yours, including the code, the content and the accounts it lives in. Costs for third-party services, like a domain name or a paid hosting plan, are yours to cover. We set things up in your own accounts, and I won't keep access to them after the session.

Recording. Sessions aren't recorded unless we both agree to it at the start of the call.

Limitation of Liability

Everything on this site, including the sessions, is provided as-is. As far as the law allows, Creative Mind Habits isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and total liability for a session is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Changes

If these terms change, the date at the top of this page changes too. Bookings follow the terms that were in place when you booked.
